I'm an integrative counsellor, which means I use different therapeutic approaches depending on what works best for you as an individual. My aim is to create a safe, supportive space where we can explore what’s going on and find the right way forward together.
Our mental health shapes how we think, feel & connect with the world around us. Like our physical health, it affects every part of our lives, our relationships, work & our sense of self & wellbeing. When we look after our mental health, we build resilience, find balance, & create the foundations to live more fully & authentically.
Talking with someone who understands the complexities surrounding a neurodivergent brain, how we process things differently, our sensory challenges whilst overthinking and getting stuck. All whilst dealing with life's struggles & problems. Tailored counselling — your way, your pace.
Counselling that respects your voice, your needs, your strengths. Empowering you to live authentically & with resilience. Focusing on your goals & communication style. Together we work on managing challenges, building confidence, whilst improving wellbeing.
Speaking with Sharon each week after I lost my husband really helped me. She was there for me, listened to me and guided me through the bereavement process. she helped me with the feelings of guilt and anger and I didn’t feel like I was bothering my friends with all my worries.Talking to Sharon gave me strength and gave me permission to grieve

Just having that time set aside for me to talk each week helped me to get my confidence back. I always felt guilty and Sharon let me get things off my chest and made me feel normal.

I'm at uni, its hard. I don't understand social relationships, when to laugh and I feel awkward. Its strange to me. Sharon's good, she's got the right energy. When she says it's confidential I believe her. She takes my word for it and doesnt need me to prove it. I'm going out more and socialising, its easier now I'm more accepting of my autism.

Sharon has been a great support to me. She is a great listener, grounded and empathic. In a world full of judgement it can be hard to be totally honest about things. She really put me at ease during our sessions and working together has improved areas in my life that I struggle with

Losing my Dad suddenly after caring for him for many years left me feeling empty, worthless and overwhelmed. I didn’t know what I was doing or who I was anymore. Speaking with Sharon each week was good. She heard what I was saying even when it was difficult for me to open up. Having that time each week and sitting in my living room I felt more at ease, which I thought would be hard. I started to do things again, just simple things but my low mood began to lift. I just want to say thanks.

I’ve got lots of health issues myself and when my son died suddenly I didn’t know where to turn. Sharon helped me to understand my grief and that it was ok to cry. She helped me to think about things and to surround myself with people who are important to me and to be able to carry on. It’s still hard, but I’m moving on with things, with life
